Former Anchorage resident Rick O. Heikes, 43, died June 30th in Shelton, Wash., as a result of an automobile accident. At his request, no service was provided. His cremated remains were scattered over Big Lake at a later date. Mr. Heikes was born October 6, 1948, in Seattle. In October 1976, he came to Anchorage, where he lived for 15 years. He was a manager for Fremont Electric’s Anchorage branch during those years. He enjoyed golf and spending time at his Big Lake cabin. We will always remember Rick and keep his remembrance close to our hearts. The Ballard High School class of 1966.
