Betty and I met in kindergarten, we were in the same Brownie and Girl Scout troop, and she was an outstanding person.  She became a teacher, and taught  somewhere in Africa. Her husband was also a teacher, who never seemed to be teaching in the same country as Betty. Her mother lamented, "I'll never have grandchildren."  But I ran into Betty and Mrs. Frakes downtown around '81.  Betty had her beautiful infant daughter with her, and Mrs. Frakes was a very proud grandma.
