Ballard High School
"Class of 66" Annual Picnic

Hello Ballard Class of 1966 classmates,
Can you believe that it’s been 6 months since our last picnic? That means it’s only 6 months until the next picnic. Please mark your calendars for September 14th 2019. It will be from 12 noon until 6 pm just like before. We are still working on the menu and prices but we will be updating our information with the next monthly reminder.
I don’t know about you but I am ready for spring time. We had an unbelievable amount of snow through the month of February. There were 14.1 inches recorded at the airport this February which broke the old record of 13.1 inches recorded at the airport in 1949. Airport records go back to 1945.  It was on January, 1950 that still holds the record for most snow in one month at 57.2 inches. That’s almost 2 feet over our heads back then. Our poor daffodils came up early this year only to be crushed by the weight of the snow. Yes, some of them did make it into a vase.

Please continue to exercise and maintain a healthy life style. If you feel anxious or depressed please seek assistance. Remain aware of new development in the arts, sciences and other areas of cultural and social interests. And remember the phrase “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks” well, that’s only a myth.
Please keep in contact with us should your Email change and as always, we want to thank you so much for your continued trust and support in our class as a whole. Without you we would find it most difficult in keeping us all together as one. Our class website address is

Please continue to stay healthy, hopeful and in good spirit because we all wish to see you again in September.
